What a weekend! I’m not sure where to start this update???

Lannahs 21st was on Sat night and a great night was had by all. We showed up early in order to turn on the heaters and try and warm the place up a bit – that ment that by the time everyone else got there Adam and I had already had a couple of handles. Once the bulk of people showed up I felt that it was my duty to try and meat everyone, this I did reasonably succesfully only missing a few of her workmates.

It was about this point that the speaches started, so I grabbed the camera and became the unofficial photographer (as there was no one else with a camera), or at least that was the plan until they called Sarah and I up to do a speech without warning… It was a bit hard to think of appropriate stories (read ones without carpet burn and her 18th b’day present) to tell everyone so instead I just tried to inject a bit of humor, which sort of worked for the first couple of seconds, and then I ran out of ideas. She was lucky that we wern’t warned in advance as then we could have had some decent stories planned.

After that it was into town where Adam got hit on by some computer geek (yes, some MALE computer geek). But that sotry may have to wait till tomorrow…
