Ok, so its about time I finished my story about Adam and the Computer Geek…

After Lannahs 21st we went into the chancery, naturally I went to go buy some drinks. I managed to push past a few people and get straight up to the bar, or so I thought until one of the guys that I pushed past turned around with a look of menace in his eyes. I though he was going to smack me one for pushing through to the bar…

Instead he asked me ‘Windows or Linux’?

This trough me a little off guard, but I had a feeling the the consequences of getting it wrong would be bad, so I quickly answered Linux (based on the assumption that anyone who would ask that question would probably use Linux). This seemed to please him, so I grabbed my drinks of the bar and pushed back past and back out into the saftey of our table in the corner.

I thought to my self “Alcohol realy does make people do strange things doesn’t it!”

About 15 minutes later the guy reappeared and he took a seat in the empty chair beside Adam. At this point I was finding this very strange, that was until he leaned closer to Adam and with a gilnt in his eye started to strike up conversation. It was then that the answer dawned on me – the Windows vs Linux question was this guys strange idea of a pick up line! And more concerningly he was hitting on Adam!!!

MaHahahahaha… Now thats what I call funny!

Btw, Sarah has vowed to update the diary with information around her fathers 50th tonight (so I will leave that to her). Feel free to email her with complaints when she doesn’t do this like she said she would!
