I’m too lazy to do a real update, so I’m just going to post the contents from an ‘update email’ I sent to Victoria at my old work. If you’ve seen this info before then just skip it 🙂

Sarah and I head away Thursday morning (so only two sleeps left). Finished all of our packing yesterday morning (only 14kg ea!) so starting to get rather excited now!

The job is going great – my boss doesn’t really believe in that normal 3 months of soft fluffy stuff that normally comes with a new job, so he has thrown me in the deep end of two projects to get underway before I leave tomorrow 😉 Suits me perfectly as there’s nothing quite like a challenge!

Sarah got a job on Thursday 🙂 She’s working in the HR team of one of the big building consultants up here (when I say team, there’s 2 of them now). I cant quite remember the name of the place (its something like Harrison Greisen???). She’s really looking forward to it!

We also managed to pick up a flat on Friday. We have a 1 bedroom + study (aka the guest cupboard) apt in the centre of Auckland (just under the sky tower). We move when we get back.

So with a job each, and a home to live in, we are both finally feeling a little more settled – its starting to feel like we actually live here rather than just visiting!
