Just posted this to have a record of the home and garden where lived for many wonderful years while our boys were at high school and university.

We had 1 hectare of land, about 1/3 of it was a huge glasshouse where we grew carnations (very hard and heavy work), 1/3 of it we developed into a garden where the rhododendrons, camelias, flowering cherries and daffodils made a brilliant display in the spring (very restful and relaxing), and in the remaining paddock we had a few pet sheep …………………..and the lambs in the spring made life exciting at this time of year.

A dream place for a family of boys and their friends – plenty of space for all the ‘boy’ things that they do!!
