The elevators in our building are an embarrassment to modern technology.

This morning I took off down the hallway to the lifts. I pressed the button to go down. Now one lift was on the floor above me and had the down arrow showing (it had just got to the floor and was turning around), the other lift was at ground level. Instead of the lift a floor above me stopping on the way back down, the lift from the ground floor came up to meet me – meaning that the two lifts were on the same floor at the half way point!!!!!

I can’t believe that they are that stupid or are my expectations to high??
