A bit of luck, negotiation, and being know as a car nut, paid off big time this week.
But first, the summary news from our last post (in case anyone missed it and is catching up on news). Sarah and I got engaged a couple of weeks ago…
Out of interest did any of the other guys out there know that things like ‘engagement parties’, ‘engagement presents’, ‘wedding planning’, etc, even existed? Since the engagement I have been educated about a series of ‘events’ that are meant to follow an engagement… Naturally I’m not having a bar of it – Shane and ‘processes’ once again fail to mix :-/
Anyway, onto the important news…
Imagine doing 220Kph down the back straight of Pukakohe, heading towards a hairpin, in a Ferrari 360 Spyder!
Well today Sarah and I headed off to the annual Ferrari Owners Club track day. It rocked!
It was also great to see people willing to go out of their way to do something special! The whole point of the day was to invite a number of different charities (multiple sclerosis etc) along so that some of them could get an amazing thrill!
In other news we are running an internal competition at work to win a vespa. It involves sending in a PXT of you getting to work. At the moment my entry is top secret, however if I win I may be willing to post my entry on this site – so keep your fingers crossed as its one worth seeing!
Anyway, got to go…
