Today we went out shopping for a couple of things. Now this isn’t really a big deal or anything special, however while we where in a store we noticed that they were playing Christmas carols over the speakers?!?!?

I have since been informed that Christmas is only 6 weeks away. Shops and malls have started putting up there decorations in the last few weeks, the Christmas “bargain” sales are starting to happen. And people are beginning to start worrying as “Christmas is coming”. Looking back now I remember walking through a store round the 20th September and they were setting up there “Christmas Shop”. Hang on this is like 3 months before Christmas!!!!

Now I love Christmas, all the decorations, the shopping even the Christmas carols but getting ready 3 months early seems a bit obsessive. Even playing Christmas carols 6 weeks before is a little bit early!!!

So my question for the day is: How early is too early to start celebrating Christmas??
