Ok today in Auckland it is raining and since I was running late I forgot to grab my umbrella on the way out the door.

So walking down the road I was getting rained on and everyone else was walking past with their umbrella’s…. most of them the big ones that can easily fit two people but most only had one person!!

Anyway I was cut of by someone not watchin where they were going and almost bumped into this guy. Anyway he must have decided to take pity on me and asked if I wanted to share his umbrella. Which of course I did.

Anyway – this action surprised me, no-one in Auckland asks if they could help someone else (or at least it is very rare) so I was beginning to think maybe just haven’t met the nice people. However, after talking to the guy it turns out that he was born in Christchurch – the red and black umbrella should have given it away!!!!

So the moral is that there are nice people here in Auckland. (Even if they have come up form down south!!!
