I have had a sore eye on and off for the past month… Last weekend on closer inspection we noticed a clear lump on the white of my eye. This was naturally a little concerning, so I went to book into an optometrist…

I was a little surprised when the loaft at my optometrist said “realistically we’ll prob have to send you to a specalist anyway, so your better to go straight to them and skip paying is for an eye exam”.

Wicked I thought for a second, and the the reality of having to go to a specalist for a lump on my eye…

So we headed over yesterday with no idea what to expect. He um’d and arh’d a bit as he looked at the lump.

“hmm, I don’t get to see these very often! Don’t worry though, its harmless. No ones quite sure what causes them so there’s no way to treat them, but its harmless (just a little annoying).”

Interestingly, he was actually more interested in a scratch on my eye. He spent more time telling me what to do for that than anything else, and when I kept asking about the lumps, he’d just brush over them!

But in general it was good news, so we have happy shane again.
