S1 here tonight as S2 is currently on the couch dying of ‘Man Cold’ and didn’t have the energy or strength to do his blip tonight and asked me to to post one for him… I agreed as admittedly his ‘Man Cold’ has meant that he can’t talk which is an extremely rare event.

So after I came home from work and cooked tea I started to look around for something to blip… not seeing anything inspiring I started to serve dessert which was left over birthday cake and the idea hit me – lets play with fire…

S2 had the macro lens on the camera so rather than change it I took my first pictures with it. Again playing with fire – I am amazed that some of my photos turned out ok as I had to learn how to manual focus etc.

After a number of out of focus shots and badly framed shots I finally started to get the hang of it. The downfall of this learning process was that I had to sort all the photo’s that I had taken…

My learning tonight was that I now have a better understanding of the effort that, S2 and all you other Blipper’s, put in each day to present their shots to us… It is has been a great inspiration to me!
