Tonight I decided to try an experiment I’ve been wanting to do for a while…
So I set off, rugged up warm
Tripod in hand
wide angle and remote shutter switch
and loaded with plenty of patience.
The plan was to capture the life of a sunset
One photo every minute or so
and then merge them into one panoramic style shot, that blends from the start to the end of the event
gradually showing the sunset evolve
and the change in colour.
However I hit a snag…
The sunset tonight didn’t turn out as fantastic as it had promised
There were no clouds to capture the colour change
so the shots look pretty much the same from end to end.
Despite that – 1 1/2 hours of blip time was nice, relaxing.
And not all was lost, as I hound this hidden in the middle of my shots.
