A while ago I mentioned Sarah brought me a present… well I thought it was about time to reveal what it is…

That my friends is a single firework…. it is around twice the size of my head. Its size is convenient, as its a pretty close match to the size of my smile when I’m holding it.

But I digress…

Basically its a whole series of fireworks linked to a single fuse in a box.

Now, this may sound familiar to many of you (maxwell?). Yes, its pretty much a prepackaged version of what we normally do anyway.

Last time Maxwell and I were left unattended, we strapped 2 boxes of fireworks together using sparklers as a timed fuse, and away we went.

The show was pretty spectacular, and so was the end result.

Despite having wet grass, Maxwells ‘flare’ idea left a large slection of burnt craters… and we ended with an impressive smoke cloud floating away above the neighborhood…

Ok, so a pre-made version isn’t quite as satisfying… but I did also pick up a spare ‘loose’ bag to make sure its a genuine night of fireworks.

I wonder if the premade one will give us scorched earth like the home made ones?
