[i]BACKDATED BLIP Oct 2013[/i]

First stop on our very quick cruise (1 week) around the Med was a day in Naples, including a trip to Pompeii. What an amazing place – felt just like a village and yet so old, so well maintained, and so much history. A place we knew about from school days but couldn’t imagine how incredible it really is. Of course we didn’t have long enough here, but this trip is just a wee taste of each place, and was a last minute addition to our European holiday, so we are lucky to see any of these things at all.
