“no woof; no woof”

As we parked the borrowed car on the street

I noticed our hazard lights blink…

strange…

and then S1 noticed

a glimpse of blond hair

and a pair of cheeky smiles

my oldest brother in the drivers seat

my nephew beside him

“no woof, no woof” he cried

as my brother eased out the clucth

and they were off

‘borrowing’ our car for the much anticipated

roofless drive

and i’m not sure whos grin was bigger

my nephews

my brothers

or mine.
