and then i decided better of it

if this was a dream I didn’t want to wake up!

So there I sat, inside a 20tonne, £25M metal box

in charge of an RAF [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CH-47_Chinook]helicopter[/url]

landing on an aircraft carrier in the Bristol channel

the body vibrating as the blades slice the air

hands gripping the controls

and all the time, feeling like i was 4 again

with Dad teaching me to ride a bike…

It was an RAF training simulator, and all I can say is ‘wow’

how amazingly real it felt
