I had a teacher once

she made me promise her something…

so I promised,

I would never become a teacher.

I’m still not sure who she was trying to protect

whether it was me

or the kids.

Either way, she was right,

the concept of a curriculum I would have to follow

just wouldn’t work for me,

I’m a bit more ad-hoc than that…
