It feels like its been a long time

since I really felt like getting out and about

with the camera after work

Sure a few weekends ago I just went for a wander

but, as for after work, it feels like forever…

And today I worked out why…

ever since I handed in my [url=http://www.blipfoto.com/view.php?id=168705&month=7&year=2008]notice[/url] at work

I’ve been struggling for motivation

just plodding along

digging in, doing hard yards, functional over fanciful

still doing the same work, but doing it the hard way.

And it’s been rubbing off creatively.

I’ve still had shots I’m proud off,

but I’ve been doing them the hard way.

but tonight

the sky was alive

I drove home with the roof down

camera perched beside me

and the feeling was back

the shots came naturally

as did the smile

a weight lifted from my shoulders

I’m not sure what was different today

but, I just think I might

choose to feel this way tomorrow as well…
