I’ve been waiting eagerly for today for far too long…
It’s all a bit geeky,
but the at 9.38am (UK) the LHC turned on.
If you don’t know what the LHC is, then count yourself lucky
as it probably means you’ve escaped the rubbish in the mainstream media
despite the media frenzy full of lies and sensationalism…
I digress.
Tonight, these two appeared,
and we were back together, for another brief moment in the same country.
And as always, all the cares in the world just melted away
as the laughter took over.
So at 9.38 tonight, 12 hours after the official event,
these two gave their an impression
of particles travelling around the 27km race track of the LHC
at 99.9999% the speed of light.
Ah, Good times.
(I can’t wait to see their impression when the particles actually start colliding!)
