We ducked down to the shops

I went to buy some boy food…

I decided on toastie pies for tea, so ser off to find what I needed

I am allergic to tomato, so I had to find the beans with the least tomato in them… they happened to be the no brand cheap ones (always are).

I found a loaf of bread that was big and square to fit nicely in the toastie machine… strangely, it happened to be the cheapest no brand plain white bread as well…

I grabbed some cans of beer to go with it and headed towards the checkout

S1 popped her head around the corner and burst out laughing… I couldn’t understand why,

until I realised with my ripped ‘hanging around’ jeans

and old t-shirt

carrying cheap beans, bread and beer

I looked like I was a student again!

Made me laugh to think I once ate like this out of necessity; now I choose to do it!
