On our way to England so had a one night stopover in Dubai.

Toured the sights and learnt about Dubai’s very recent history – oil was only discovered here in 1966. This photo of Jumeirah mosque is a bit deceptive as there was a sandstorm in the city, and generally it was very hazy and difficult to see.
