Went to buy a new mattress today – the local stores wanted an obscene amount so pulled out the iPhone and found an online store with one for 1/4 the price.

I hate it when that happens as I really do like supporting local stores, but this was a joke!

Brought a big leg of port to roast on the BBQ, only to have the skys open 5min later while driving home.

So much for a BBQ – the pig will have to wait until tomorrow.

Gave up, and broke out a movie and popcorn.

“Horton hears a Hoo” to be precise.
