I can hear the sound vividly amongst the silence

a few minutes to relax and unwind, so I roll up a towel to go under my neck

and I lie back on the bed watching the reflection of the pool playing on the roof…

I can hear the blood flow through my ears and head

it’s an overwhelming sound in the silence

i love this moment

then they soft violin starts to drown it all out

a chello off to the left of the group, a bass on the right

years ago S1 let me spend way to much on a pair of decent headphones

actually 2, but one was lost a few years later in an airport

I digress

I love the detail and clarity

and the ability to block out the rest of the world

I do fine earphones a little anti social though

so one day I hope to own my own audiophile speakers

so I can share this joy with others

but for the moment, I’m happy

it’s just me and the violin in another hotel room

and then the violin fades back into the silence
