I associate toi toi with summer

hmmm, perhaps toi toi is a kiwi term… um, er, I’m really not sure what else to call them

right, now we are back on track

anyway, I associate them with summer

yet there’s this one that sits under the streetlight

somehow it seems to be there year round

and when the weather turns bad and the rain sets in

the streetlight seems to light it up like a beacon

it gives me just that little warmth of summer when we need it most
