We have just returned from a few days in Hawkes Bay with a group of golfers. They played the Cape Kidnappers course which is one of the top 50 courses in the world.
It is built on a 5000 acre sheep farm and was created by leveling the hill tops to form the fairways, leaving sheer [url=http://www.flickr.com/photos/35200801@N05/3895276990/in/set-72157622276954412/]cliffs[/url] which drop up to 500ft into the sea below – no retrieving [url=http://www.flickr.com/photos/35200801@N05/3894486793/in/set-72157622276954412/]lost balls[/url] here!!
There are spectacular views of Hawke’s Bay from every hole ……… I think forget the [url=http://www.flickr.com/photos/35200801@N05/3894485649/in/set-72157622276954412/]golf[/url] and enjoy the walk 🙂
