Tonight I had to write a short note to send to the best man for my friends wedding

I have had to miss it (along with the 3 week trip home) due to my back…

He originally asked me to be best man over a year ago so there is no shortage of ideas for what to add into a speech, but the challenge of put it down on paper for someone else to read is hard work.

However, given the new best man only had 4 weeks warning, sending this over to him just feels extra important.

Not to mention that it really makes it hit home that I wont be there to support him on his big day.
