Beautifully restored heritage trams travel around a circuit in the centre of our city. I know many of you still have functional trams but unfortunately Christchurch removed theirs from the city streets in 1954.

These old girls are not the [url=http://www.blipfoto.com/view.php?id=417945&month=12&year=2009]fastest[/url] form of transport, but they are very popular with locals and tourists – the ‘dinner’ tram especially is a fun night out 🙂
