It always amazes me that we take what we have so for granted

I know so many people that have lived in a place for years, but have seen less of their sights than most tourists do in a year

Actually, I suppose in some ways we are guilty of this too as we never did do Tongariro before leaving NZ

Having now moved country I have sworn I’ll never take what is nearby for granted again
