Firstly thanks to all of you who commented, rated, or favourited my [url=http://www.blipfoto.com/view.php?id=549540&month=4&year=2010]sunrise[/url] yesterday. I am pleased you all had a chance to share the spectacular start to our day.

Spent all of today in the garden as the stump-muncher man came this morning and removed the stumps from our [url=http://www.blipfoto.com/view.php?id=519152]palms[/url].

Fortunately he managed to remove all the stumps so we can now plant in the same area. However he left a huge pile of munchings on the lawn so all day I have been clearing the weeds from a big area of garden, digging some of that soil to fill the stump hole, replacing plants that were removed to give access to the stumps, moving plants from one area to another as we need a bit of reorganisation now that the palms have gone, and spreading the munchings around the garden for mulch. Looks good but I am exhausted …………. so is molly as she in sound asleep in her basket after having a very busy day ‘helping’ and finding toys and balls that have been lost in the shrubs.

All in all a good day – and snapped a blip just as the last of the sun’s rays were catching this aeonium dotted with water droplets from the sprinkler. [url=http://www.blipfoto.com/hpx]hpx[/url] has been giving me tips on blending layers and texture so gave it a try tonight
