YAY – I always like when we get past the shortest day ………. eventhough we won’t notice any change for a week or two, it just feels better to know the days are getting longer 🙂

Found this leaf on my walk today – it looks very battered and bedraggled by the winter rain and hail, but still has its bright cheery colour.

It has been a very bright and memorable day with NZ celebrating the All Whites draw with Italy. Fantastic 🙂
