This is the view as we left Hanmer mid-morning – very cold but very beautiful.

We finally warmed up yesterday …… once we discovered the gas fire problem was caused by a faulty electric plug. That was easy fixed, but not so easy is the damage to the car caused by a Campervan backing into us!! Not too serious as it is a dent in the bonnet only ……., but guess it will mean a few days without the car 🙁

The two ‘ooopses’ were more than balanced by two high points – the show we went to on Friday night was performed brilliantly (it never ceases to amaze me how many talented people live in this little village), and this [url=large]large size view[/url] is a delight to store away in my mind as we leave the village.
