We went to Akaroa today for a couple of nights as gd is running a Strategic Planning Day tomorrow.

A gloomy day weatherwise – we were in the cloud within minutes of leaving home, cleared soon after Teddington, but we went through and above the mist on the hill between Little River and Akaroa.

Misty drizzly rain when we arrived so little chance for photos. However, after a delicious meal at Bully Hayes, I found this tree beside our motel with the lights of Akaroa village in the background. The light was bouncing off the mist and there were raindrops on my lens – so this is the best I could do 🙂
