Our first impressions were hmmm… another big city full of tourists.

Full was the right word – it was probably their busiest weekend of the year.

But eventually, we found a canal ride to calm the pace of life and a few restaurants with street views to sit and watch the world go by

Buy the end of the day the whole town made a lot more sense than first impressions had implied.

It’s a surprisingly graceful city… once you get past the red light district that is.
