Gerberas always amaze me because they last for so long after picking.

Refreshing the water and trimming the stems does wonders, and long after other flowers have been discarded, the gerberas are still looking good. The white ones are starting to fade but I suspect I can get another week out of the pink ones ………… and they have aready been brightening my dining table for two weeks (even while we were away and they were ignored for a few days).
