Opened the drapes this morning to be greeted by snow on the hills behind the new spring growth on the trees. We had skiffs of snow in beween hail showers all morning, although it didn’t lie in the village. Very brrrrr ……. so spent the day eating, drinking and playing pictionary ………. serious challenges at pictionary as there is a lot at pride at stake. Cooked a delicious roast lamb and veges for lunch – and the wine seemed to reduce the importance of the challenge!!

Fortunately it cleared this afternoon so we had a walk with molly and some exercise to aid digestion before the next bottle is opened and next meal prepared!!

Holidaying with friends and breaking the usual everyday routines and rules is a wonderful tonic 🙂
