At 6am the alarm went off

it was day one of the holiday

a mistake? a hang over from the daily grind?

Unfortunately not.

Day one of the holiday and we decided to get the milk boat

there was just us, the milk and the laundry

sailing across for an island adventure

Except, we were too early for the place

nothing was open

not even breakfast to be found.

So we went for a trek, and then back on the main island for lunch

We never did get the hang of ‘lazy holidays’.
