It snowed, and snowed

and the closer to the airport we got

the heavier it snowed

Things were not looking good

when we finally arrived

the airport was already full

Nothing was coming in

which quickly meant nothing was going out

6 hours on, our flight was finally cancelled

so join the next 3hr queue for a rebooking and a hotel

With Heathrow shut, we could be here for a while.

Do we try our luck again in the morning?

Or perhaps we try the (now overcrowded) trains?

Lets sleep on it

and see what the storm has done in the morning.
