Last night we had a major flood

now that it’s drying out

we can inspect the damage.

The inflow system in the toilet has malfunctioned

meaning about 30% of the water was going straight down the inside of the cabinet

under the cabinet

under the bath

out the door to meet us

Drying out, it looks like we caught it quick.

However, with the panel off the bath

we found a 2nd leak

a longer term one in the shower has rotten the walls behind the tiles and bath.

Luckily we are ripping out the bathroom in a few weeks

so we just have to nurse it all by until then.
