[i]Backblipped one year later[/i]

A wee glimpse of the mess we had at home after the violent earthquake and aftershocks destroyed a large portion of our city.

Lucy (in the photo) had arrived from Guernsey with her husband only 1 hour before the quake hit. One would have thought I could have tidied the house for them, and not thrown their lunch on the floor!!!

Fortunately we have most of our furniture securely attached to the wall ….. but even this didn’t stop the china cabinet from being wrenched from the wall to fall on top of its contents.

[i]Time to make a record of the one month of blips I missed post earthquake ………….. at least for the days I took a photo.

Not good pics but ok for a record – guess my hands were shaking and the ground was rocking and rolling at the time!![/i]
