Another big shudder rumbled past this morning – just after I told my son in Scotland that they had quietened down ……. Mr Murphy must have been listening to our conversation!!

Queens Birthday holiday here today and a very cold and cloudy day, so after walking with molly and gd this morning, then seeing my mum, I settled in to an afternoon of photo sorting and organising. Satisfying to have time to do it without distraction.

These japonica are growing wild on the bank by our driveway and gd was taken with the bright colour so clambered up to pick them. They look good in a large vase as the stems are all angular and spikey.
