9/11 is a day that we will never forget watching the unbelievable scenes on our televisions. It was even more unbelievable to be in New York recently and to stand at the site, nearly 10 years on, and imagine the horror and panic felt by the thousands of people who started their day just the same as any other, but ended it in the midst of a devastating nightmare.

All of our lives were changed forever on that day, but 10 years on I would like to think that the world could be a calmer more peaceful place …………. however the realist in me knows that “that ain’t gonna happen!”

My thoughts are with all those affected by 9/11 and I hope you have found a quiet, peaceful place of your own, where you can feel at ease in this tumultuous world we live in.
