A successful day for me today.

I finally found a place to get valuations for some of my Grandmother’s china which was smashed in the quake. Unfortunately the value of it is irrelevant, it is the sentimental value that has been lost, however it is just part of the recovery process that we get things valued and claim for that.

Took molly with me and she waited patiently – then we went of a long walk in a park where these seed pods caught my attention. I like their shape – remind me of baby chicks waiting in a nest for their food to arrive.

This afternoon I have been editing photos from the last few days of our holiday – note to self …. next holiday don’t take so many photos!! However nearly done – it is a pleasurable job really reliving the memories of new experiences and fun times.
