We had a team of structural engineers plus builder, electrician and insurance assessor clambering over our house today. They were very efficient – but now we wait 2-3 months for their report to be completed.

However, they reassured us that our home will be repaired – the floors have to be lifted and the wall linings removed to enable strengthening of the frame which has twisted. It will be a fairly big job, but the foundations are sound, so that is excellent news for us 🙂
