A stroll around Reykjavik today – what a magical city.

Oddly, it gave me some hope for rebuilding back in NZ.

The city had a wonderful vibe to it – nothing was over 3 stories and there was a real mix of the old and new.

It’s a city that clearly embraces tourism, art and culture in a unique way.

I suppose this is what Christchurch may end up like.
