I had a steroid injection in my right wrist today and the instructions were to go quietly and rest it for a couple of days. It is a bit sore, so what better excuse than to find a sunny spot to sit and read my book for an hour or two.

While editing I realised this passage is not very exciting – but I am not taking another pic. The book is Blood Sisters, about 3 schoolfriends in Kenya in 1957 and follows their different lives through the years of political upheaval. It is much better than this passage suggests 🙂
