Just in time for Christmas, the freeze is finally rolling in.

For the first time this winter we had a real frosty morning. Rain and freezing temps for the first time this year.

Icy roads made for an interesting trip to work this morning.

I hit the ice 10 min from home and realised I should have taken the other car.

It seems odd, but with a little one on the way, I’m so much more conscious of S1’s saftey. She hates her car in ice and snow as it is so I normally take it on bad days, but I can see most of this winter I’ll be driving it for my own peace of mind.
