This is A1 and A2.

A2 has been a mate for years, but his lovely wife is a relatively new friend.

By the time they met, S1 and I had moved cities and then countries. Everyone said how good they were together, but we hadn’t met her much.

Amazingly I went to the same primary and high school as her, but she was a couple of years younger so we never really met.

They came over for their honeymoon last year and we had a blast, so when they offered us a bed for a couple of nights we jumped at it.

A1 is a new friend, but one of those friends that you feel like you have known for ages.

When she declared ‘Arts and Crafts time’ and appeared with canvas and paints I couldn’t contain my excitement.

They really do work well together.
