The Majuba Track in Hanmer Springs used to be a favourite walk for our family. It meandered through very tall straight trees with bare trunks, and it was always very dark …… spooky and scary for a family of 3 little boys!

I haven’t walked up the track for quite some time – not since the trees were felled and it became very open and scruffy. This evening mollyanme walked up, to find this stand of trees at the top of the track
