Tonight we had our last drive together in ‘Hayley’ our loved MX-5.

When we brought her, we never imagined we would have her for 5 years. But now that it comes to selling it we are both guttered.

Before tonight’s drive, I really wasn’t ready to let her go. Up until now, Baby has just meant ‘new stuff’, so this is the first thing we have had to give up in preparation.

When we brought her, we knew it was our only chance to have a 2 seater this side of kids. We have loved her back to basics driving and character.

Following tonight’s drive, I think I’m ready.

As we pulled into home, we both decided that we would prefer to be three without an MX-5 rather than just 2 with one.
