Arrived in Hanmer early afternoon,so unpack, grab some lunch then off for a walk with molly.

The ‘norwest wind was starting so thought I would not go far into the forest, just along a short track then to get some supplies from the store ……….. but the forest was sheltered, I found some fungi on the way, I became distracted and wandered down the longer track.

Unfortunately I only took ‘my easy to carry’ 50mm lens – will have to take my macro tomorrow to try for some better shots. Want a fine warm day again tomorrow – but a wee bit of dampness overnight would help the toadstools grow.
