Couldn’t resist this shot. The team decided it was time for a hair makeover for our resident fashion superstar. He was less than convinced by the results but happily played along.
Day 5
As far as positive experiences go, I think the team achieved something good this week. Our superstar boss was away, so we decided to pick up some work that was needing done to see what we could get done without him knowing. This morning we had a final sync up and the results are looking fantastic.
I thrive on seeing end results. A half done job doesn’t give me much satisfaction, it’s only when the results come in that I’m happy.
Today I’m grateful for:
– I’m glad my parents put so much time and support into fixing my poor eye as a kid. After spending 90% of today staring at my screen I’m glad they did (although they never would have guessed at the time that computers would become such a big part of our lives!)
– I’m really grateful I have such a self starter working for me. On days like today when I’m under pressure and focused on my own work it makes a massive difference to know he’s on top of things and picking up the stuff I may miss.
– Daylight savings. The last few weeks of having daylight after work have been amazing!
